Goals

I've started some new goals for this year. Just to get better at things that I have struggled with for a long time, and to make myself a better person on so many different levels.
Mark and I have started doing a team read type thing with The Book of Morman. We joined a website called ReadTheScriptures.com and they send us our daily reading. We chose to have the BOM finished by our anniversary so we get about 45 verses a day.
Then we are also trying to make sure we go on a date and attend the temple atleast once a month. I sometimes feel that we a loosing our "coupleness". Things just sometimes get borring in the everyday stuff and Date Night is a great way to give us some alone couple time rather than mommy and daddy 24/7.
I'm trying to write in my journal everyday as well as excersise everday. I really want to get a Wii Fit, I think it will help motivate me. But they are a little more pricey then what I can do right now, maybe with Taxes. I do have a excersise bike, I just forget to climb on it and get lazy.
I'm trying to be a better person by smiling at everyone I see and not focous on the floor boards when I pass someone. Smiles are contagious and can make the world a better place. I'm a really friendly person once you get to know me, I'm just really shy at first and need to work on that.
I'm trying to focous more on the positive and just live a happier life!

A Quick History

I've finally started a blog!!! Just a quick catch up. I married my high school sweetheart, Mark Peterson, on June 13th 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. Our son, Chase Jeffrey, was born on July 25, 2007. I'm now a stay-at-home mom and love being able to do so. I spend my days cleaning, facebook-ing, working on ChaCha, and playing with Chase. We live in South Salt Lake, but are looking into finding a bigger place by the end of May.
